    Get Involved with OSHAID!

There's a number of ways you can be involved with OSHAID International's activities. Here are just a few.

Get on our mailing list for updates.
Send us an email at mailing.list@oshaid.org including your email contact and we will stay in touch with a regular email updates on safety in developing countries and our own projects. 

Volunteer for some project work.
We are essentially a volunteer based organisation so we need many hand to help make light work. If you would like to work on a project or simply could help out in the office contact Administration on admin@oshaid.org or +617 32810718. We need the following volunteers now:

  • Office Administration (Brisbane)
  • Electrical Safety Expert - Thailand short term project
  • Mining Strata control expert - China

  Sponsor a project
We urgently need sponsors to make our projects work. Sponsorship could be as little as $1 for a Safety Brochure distributed to a migrant worker or as much as $100,000 to support a project for several years. Every cent is important to achieving our mission. "Taking Safety to a World in Need"

Executive

We'd like to introduce you to our executive committee and board members.

Mr. John Ninness CPMSIA, RSP(Aust).
Mr. John Ninness is the founder and Chairman of the OSHAID Organisation. John is a Chartered Professional Member of the Safety Institute and a seasoned OH&S professional having worked in Australian Government and Australian Private Sector organisations in mining, manufacturing and retail industries. John has held a variety of senior management roles in Australian Enterprises including operations management, human resources and safety management. John currently runs his own private business and safety management consultancy business (Ninness Consulting Pty Ltd) from Brisbane Australia. John provides key safety expertise for the OSHAID group. Mr. Greg Gardiner
Mr. Greg Gardiner is an experienced Media and Community Organisation Senior Executive having held recent posts as Chief Executive Officer of Christian Television Australia (CTA). Mr Gardiner brings a wealth of experience in the not for profit sector. Mr Gardiner currently consults for CTA and is the Executive Pastor of Ipswich Presbyterian Church.
